What is a Guest Post?

We all enjoy being someone’s guest, we get to spend time with someone who is often more popular than we are, and we get other benefits, such as the opportunity to be introduced to new people who might help us in the future, and who might help improve our reputation today. Guest blogging works just like this, guest blogging is simply posting your content (blog, video, artwork, poem…) on somebody else’s blog. Through the writing of quality guest posts you can greatly improve your online reputation and can increase the value of your brand.

Why Should I Write a Guest Post?

There are a number of reasons for writing guest posts, and I am sure that you can come up with other reasons that I will not have time to list here. Guest posts are a great way of getting published and are a great way to get your work (your writing, poetry, art…) seen by tons of people. Established blogs have a loyal following and by getting your content posted on an established blog you can ensure that your content will be seen and read by a wide audience. Each blog owner has their own set of guidelines for guest posting, but most bloggers will allow you to post under your own name, (or a clients name) and will allow you to include a few links to your sites/blogs. (Although many blog owners will limit the addition of links if these are too self promotional and will not allow you to post self promotional content)
In addition to the direct benefits that accrue from guest posting (greater name recognition and the like…) guest posts are a great way to build quality links back to your site/blog and can do much to increase the popularity of your online properties.

What kind of content do you accept?

We accept any content that we deem to be useful to our readers. (You can scroll through our past blog posts to see the type of material that we have posted in the past and can use this as a guide). Generally speaking this blog is dedicated to search engine optimization (SEO) so we will accept any post that relates to online marketing, SEO, web design… (We are always looking for new and unique content, so if you have an idea, please send it to us). As far as the guidelines for guest posts, your post can be written in any style, but we tend to post blogs that are at least 350 words.

If you would like to guest post on a topic that has already been covered in a previous blog post, you are welcome to do this, but please make sure to add something of value, otherwise your guest post may not get approved.

Guidelines for Guest Posting

• Your post must be original and must have never been published before on the Internet
• You agree to not publish the post anywhere else (i.e., in your own blog or as a guest post in other blogs)
• You can include up to 2 links in your guest post (a link in your bio and a link in the body of the post)

How to Submit a Guest Post to This Blog?

If you have a post that meets the guidelines above, you can send it to Eugene Aronsky, who is the Admin of this blog, Email Eugene. Please include the post in the body of the email itself, or as a .doc attachment.

Once we receive a guest post we will try to reply to you within a few days to tell you if we will accept your guest post. If your post is rejected for publication you are obviously free to use it in your own blog or to propose it as a guest post to some other website
