How much should SEO cost?
The issue of cost is one that arises often in SEO. Given that SEO is currently a very hot topic and that everyone is claiming to be an SEO expert and that many companies are claiming to have software that automates SEO… you should be able to find a wide range in cost for SEO
(starting with under $100 per month and going up to thousands of dollars per month, depending on your requirements). But, with SEO as with everything else in life, you get what you pay for, and I can tell you this for a fact, if someone promises to get you to rank on the first page for your keywords for $100 per month, they are lying!
The reality is that good SEO takes a lot of work and requires skills that may take years to perfect, and so, good SEO is not cheap. This of course depends on the size of your project and on the results that you wish to get, but I can tell you this much, as of today most reputable SEO firms rarely take clients that pay less than $500 per month. Although it is possible to find small companies, or companies that specialize in websites for small business, most of these companies will still charge you upwards of $300 per month and will deliver less results.
The fact is that good SEO, regardless of its cost is worth it! For example, we have clients who are contractors, and more than one of these clients has been able to land their biggest commercial remodeling contracts thanks to the Search engine optimization offered by NetLZ.

This is the question of time over money. I niche blog as well as my main blog. I would rather pay somebody to do the SEO for my niche sites so I can channel my time on more important things (to me).
Outsourcing your SEO can sometimes cost you if the so called expert cocks it up, but for the most part it saves you.
Thanks
